Fazenda Isidro Pereira - Brasil Specialty Coffee
TASTING NOTES: Milk chocolate, hazelnut, dried cherry, creamy mouthfeel, sweet finish
Well known for its mineral water springs, the region of the Mantiqueira mountain range, where Fazenda Isidro Pereira is located, possesses a perfect combination of climate and land factors that enable the production of excellent coffee. This Yellow Bourbon variety coffee thrives with the well defined seasons and highly fertile soil.
Fazenda Isidro Pereira’s history includes some of Brasil’s first steps towards specialty coffee production but begins before that. Luiz Paulo’s grandfather bought the farm in 1967. Decades later Luiz began to experiment with new equipment and techniques of processing coffee and began paying his staff bonuses for success in producing quality coffee. He was recently celebrated as one of six of the world's Legends of Excellence by the prestigious Cup of Excellence organization, honoring his successes in both his community and his industry leading 23 placements and wins in Brasil’s national Cup of Excellence coffee quality competitions.
This coffee is a Yellow Bourbon varietal selection processed in the natural method. This coffee is very sweet, with a heavy and creamy mouthfeel and a perfectly clean finish. It has rich notes of chocolate, hazelnut and cherry. From the Mantiqueira mountains to your cup, we are pleased to share with you Fazenda Isidro Pereira.
