This coffee is sourced from Fazenda Santa Lucia in Carmo de Minas, Brazil, a farm run by Helcio Carneiro Pinto since 1976. Helcio co-founded APROCAM, an association dedicated to improving coffee quality in the Mantiqueira region through collaboration with scientists, agronomists, and coffee professionals.

The farm is also committed to social responsibility, supporting 25 families with free housing, fair wages, and amenities such as a school, soccer field, fishing lake, and access to transportation and medicine.
